Cuisine: American, Healthy
Keyword: buffalo, chicken, spicy
Servings: 4 cups
- 3 lb chicken breast
- 1 tsp each garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper
- 2 tsp dried parsley
- 1/2 cup buffalo wing sauce, plus more to taste (I recommend Franks Buffalo Wing Sauce)
Add the chicken in an even later the crockpot, sprinkle on the seasonings, add 1/2 cup buffalo sauce, set to low and cook on low for about 5 hours, until fork tender and shreds easily with a fork.
Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the crockpot, reserving the liquid.
Shred chicken with two forks, then add back into the crockpot with liquid and cook for an additional 10-15 minutes to let the liquid soak back into the chicken. You can taste at this point, and add additional buffalo wing sauce or hot sauce if desired.
Serve warm piled on sandwich rolls or buns, in tacos, or in your favorite buffalo chicken dish.
